The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost issues a call for nominations each Fall for several awards that are designed to acknowledge teaching, research, and public service. The Teaching and Public Service Awards not only allow institutional acknowledgement but also a monetary recognition of the work these faculty members dedicate to course preparation, curriculum development, innovative teaching, advising, community engagement, and mentoring.
Each year, the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs administers All-University Graduate Teaching Assistant Awards. Departments are invited to nominate one or more candidates for a graduate teaching award. From the pool of nominations, a faculty selection committee chooses fifteen winners.
Completed nomination dossiers for all faculty awards must be emailed to Guinn Baker by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2019.
