Below are some helpful tips and resources to mindfully guide you when interacting with or simply enjoying the company of your friends, students, co-workers, and colleagues with disabilities. 

In short, don't make assumptions about the person or that assistance in any form is necessary - ask first. When planning events, consider that attendees may have some type of disability.
