The chief of staff supports the provost, sets leadership meeting agendas and tracks follow-through, and manages the administrative team for the provost. Abby staffs a range of committees and initiatives, responds to emerging issues, gathers information, and writes briefings.
She is a double Hoo with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts and Sciences and a master’s degree from the School of Education and Human Development.
In her twenty years’ experience at UVA, she has worked in Undergraduate Admission and the School of Nursing.
