Reporting to the Chief of Staff Ken Kipps, Carolina manages briefing materials for the Provost, provides administrative support for the Chief of Staff and Communications, and handles other administrative projects.

Carolina was born and raised in Honduras, where she received a BA in Interior Architecture. She moved to the U.S. in 2012 and recently relocated from Las Vegas, Nevada, where she worked as a legal assistant for private and non-profit law firms in the city. She volunteers as a Spanish Interpreter with the UVA Latino Health Initiative since receiving a Combined Certificate in Interpretation and Translation from Hunter College in 2023. Carolina enjoys visiting art exhibitions and dancing.
