Calendar Committee

Under the Executive Vice President and Provost's direction, the Calendar Committee prepares and recommends to the President the University's comprehensive academic calendar, and as requested advises the President on calendar issues.

Committee on Public Art

The Committee on Public Art advises the Executive Vice President and Provost on issues related to the acquisition and placement of works of art in public spaces outside the curated collections of the University.

Graduate Policy Committee

The Graduate Policy Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the provost’s office to study, formulate, and recommend policies and procedures concerning matters affecting the graduate and professional student academic environment.

Libraries Committee

The University Libraries Committee advises the University Librarian on critical matters in areas where the Library serves the needs of faculty and students, including materials, services, facilities and equipment, and space. 

Press Board of Directors

The University of Virginia Press Board is charged to authorize the publication of books by the Press; safeguard the scholarly integrity of the Press imprint; advise the Director of the Press on the publication and distribution of books; and assist the Director in administering the finances of the Press.

Thomas Jefferson Awards Committee

The Thomas Jefferson Awards Committee solicits nominations and selects a recipient for each of the two awards, the highest honors given to members of the University.

Undergraduate Policy Committee

The Undergraduate Policy Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the provost’s office to study, formulate, and recommend policies and procedures concerning matters affecting the undergraduate student academic environment.

University Teaching & Learning Technology (UTLT)

The UTLT committee aims to establish and nurture a vibrant digital teaching and learning ecosystem guided by data-informed decision-making.

Virginia Status of University Students Committee

The Virginia Status of University Students Committee oversees the classification of students and prospective students into categories of Virginians and non-Virginians.
