Claire Flynn

Claire facilitates a variety of Faculty Affairs processes and initiatives in the Provost’s Office. Her work has a focus on process improvement and implementation of systems that promote increased clarity and transparency in Faculty Affairs activities. As a part of this work, Claire shares responsibility for the preparation of personnel actions for Board of Visitors approval.

Claire facilitates a variety of Faculty Affairs processes and initiatives in the Provost’s Office. Her work has a focus on process improvement and implementation of systems that promote increased clarity and transparency in Faculty Affairs activities. As a part of this work, Claire shares responsibility for the preparation of personnel actions for Board of Visitors approval. Claire is also a member of the UVA Dual Career Program team and aids faculty recruitment and retention efforts by assisting faculty spouses and partners in their Charlottesville area job searches. Claire received a B.A. in Hispanic Studies from William and Mary in 2018 and is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Higher Education in the UVA School of Education and Human Development. Prior to joining the Provost’s Office in 2020, she worked as an Office Coordinator at the Jefferson Scholars Foundation.
