Maria supports the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost through management of a team of administrative generalists who provide support to the Vice Provosts and their units. Additionally, she maintains a varied portfolio of project-based and operational responsibilities within the office. Recent projects include supporting the development of the Public Service Pathways program, supporting the office through the transition to Workday finance, and managing a complex series of space moves for several teams. Maria is a proud Double Duke with a BA in Sociology and an MBA from James Madison University. She began her time at the University in UVA Health in 2018 and joined the Provost’s Office in 2020. Prior to working at UVA, she managed a large dance studio for nearly a decade. Maria is passionate about organization and efficiency and loves creating systems to make things tidy and functional both at work and at home..
