Mariah supports Vice Provost for Enrollment Stephen Farmer, while also offering miscellaneous support for UVA Enrollment units including the Office of Undergraduate Admission, Student Financial Services, and the Office of the University Registrar. Additionally, she provides scheduling assistance to the Vice Provost for the Arts and assists with related tasks as requested. Mariah joined the Provost's Office in 2021 following earlier roles in Procurement and Supplier Diversity Services, UVA Finance, and, most recently, the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. In the Dean's Office, she supported the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and the Associate Dean for Arts and Humanities. Mariah received a B.A. in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University with a minor in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness in 2016 before beginning work at UVA. Outside of the office, she enjoys baking sweets and is an avid gamer with a preference for survival/strategy and casual/simulation style games.
