Libraries Committee

Committee Reporting Relationship

The Committee reports to the Executive Vice President and Provost.

Charge

The University's Libraries Committee is a campus-wide advisory committee that generally meets once a semester and is made up of faculty representatives from each of the Schools and Colleges. Its meetings provide an opportunity for the Library to benefit from the experience and perspectives of faculty, allow committee members the opportunity to bring issues forward on behalf of their colleagues or their schools, and give members early awareness of new library collections and services.

Committee Structure

Members are appointed by the University Library and the Faculty Senate's Research, Teaching, and Scholarship Committee.
