Faculty Recruitment & Retention
A university is only as strong as its faculty. We strive to attract a group of faculty who are both talented and diverse, who are or will be leaders in their fields, and who are committed to both outstanding research and outstanding teaching.
Minimum Entry-Level Salaries for New Hires
New offers of employment to full-time faculty and professional research staff must meet or exceed the levels specified below and/or in the Provost’s Wage Authorization. Salaries for academic faculty and professional research staff currently employed at the University may not meet these minimum levels if they were hired prior to July 1, 2016.
The levels defined below constitute the “base state salary” for each position and are to be used when calculating supplemental salary support from restricted endowments whose income cannot be used to replace base state salaries.
